Diamond

Diamond is one of the four precious stones.
It is a mineral formed from carbon.
It is usually ‘white’, colourless, but is also found in yellow, brown, red, blue and black.
Diamond is the hardest material known to man and its qualities make it the most famous of the precious stones used in jewellery.
It comes primarily from Russia, Botswana, Australia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
